Integrated Campaign
Brief
Create a campaign highlighting the importance of preparing to meet the challenges electric vehicle (EV) charging may bring to the grid and position the client as a thought leader in power quality and grid stability. Focus on establishing the client as a knowledgeable resource with a secondary push to their flagship product.
Execution
With new bills passed and sales taking off, the question of whether the power grid is ready to handle EV charging looms. Without proper infrastructure planning in place, both utilities and EV customers will see issues. Our client aims to become a leading resource for both utilities and EV companies to get the insight and expertise they need to set their grid up for success.
To help the client stand out in this exploding market, I broke away from blues and greens and used electric pinks and oranges. Using the client’s powerwave as a base, I created a thin line element used throughout this campaign that mimics the shape of an EV charging plug and resolves into dashes as it ‘charges up’. Combining this with a subtle grid pattern and bright open sky imagery cements the idea of possibility and progress in the renewables space.
